Lionscrest Colorado Wedding | Tricia + Zach

Tricia and Zach got married at Lionscrest Manor in Colorado during a record breaking heat wave of over 100 degrees. Luckily there was air conditioning inside and plenty of water bottles around.  Tricia and Zach got ready in separate rooms inside the manor and saw each other for the first time on the adjoining staircase. We spent time under the blazing sun getting pictures of the two of them and their wedding party before the ceremony. Tricia’s grandmother made all of the bouquets and flower decorations herself! I loved them in contrast to the cute gray dress that the bridesmaids wore. The view from the ceremony site was a gorgeous valley between purple plateaus and mountains. After the ceremony, the three escaped for more photos in the fields near the reception site. The sun at that point had descended lower on the horizon so the lighting was soft and beautiful which was a perfect match for the golden grass.

The bride and groom were introduced into the reception and immediately started into the toasts and cake cutting which was followed by the buffet, their first dance, and then the party and dancing began! Her friends and family really hit it hard and I couldn’t help but capture tons of fun expressions and dance moves. Thanks Tricia and Zach for inviting me to capture your wedding in beautiful sunshiney Colorado!
