Vashon Island Wedding | Kate + Kyle (1/3)

Kate and Kyle had a such picture-perfect wedding that I am certain even their pup Marley could have taken beautiful photos of it! The party centered around Kate’s parent’s private residence on Vashon Island where she grew up; the ceremony taking place at Point Robinson Lighthouse. With so much going on this wedding will need to be divided into three parts starting with getting ready at her home. Every single detail was gorgeous so I didn’t want to miss a thing, especially because most of it was created by hand by Kate or her family and friends. First up, I loved Kate’s flowers and her dress — which she designed herself! Oh yeah, and Katy sewed her bridesmaids dresses too!

The couple saw each other for the first time in a field behind her home. I loved Kyle’s expression when he greeted her, and even more, I loved how he couldn’t stop smiling at her. We captured lots and lots of photos walking around her property and were later joined by their wedding party, which was another “mixed” party like the previous wedding with a bride’s gentlman joining Kate’s bridesmaids.
